this recipe is the bomb and the sauce is so yum! My husband is picky about his meat...but he asked when I was making them again! I used country style ribs (just cuz they are cheaper) and the recipe worked fine!

I made this tonight and we loved it! The meat was so tender it just fell off the bone. I wouldn't make any changes to the recipe at all!

It fell of the bone.. I did make my own BBQ sauce and it was to watery but that was my fault.. next time I will use less liquid.. It was flaverful.. I will try marinating the ribs next time.. It was my first time making ribs and BBQ sauce.. Yay me..

Very yummy! I used a little BBQ sauce in place of some ketchup because I ran out of the latter. They were super tender. My husband loved them!

I used the half bbq & half ketchup for sauce like others suggested. The flavor was delicious but somewhere along the recipe my ribs were tender but dry on inside. (i used 2lbs boneless ribs) I will try again for sure. Thanks for sharing

I have been messing with ribs recipes for years -- looking for the perfect recipe. I especially need one for the winter -- when grilling outside is not my thing, but I am still hungry for ribs. This one turned out perfectly AND it was SO easy. I prepped the ribs in the morning and put them in the crockpot; by the time we were home for dinner the house smelled great (even my kids commented) and the ribs were fall-off-the-bone perfect! I did use my own rib sauce instead of the recipe's sauce, but that was the only change I made. Thanks for sharing a fantastic way to prepare ribs (I may even incorporate in the summer with the gilling).

These are the best ever!! I haven't done ribs a lot because I find them annoying and a lot of work. This recipe is soooo easy and my hubby has asked for them twice a week since I first made them. Everyone that has tried them takes home the recipe! The sauce is awesome on chicken too! Thanks Suzanne2802.

I tried this receipe for the first time a couple weeks ago when I was having all of my family over to celebrate my husband's birthday. OMG....my family went nuts over it. I took tips from a couple other reviewers that suggested to cook them no longer than 6 hours. They were starting to fall off the bone. And I also took the suggestion about cooking them in the oven for a few minutes afterwards to help the sauce to stick. Instead of using ketchup, I replaced it with Kraft Honey Smoked BBQ sauce. This recipe is definitely a keeper.

Like everyone else I changed the sauce. I didn't want the sauce to come out tasting to much like ketchup. Therefore, instead of using two cups of ketchup; I used 1 cup ketchup to 1 cup BBQ sauce. Everything else I kept the same. The sauce came out great, didn't like my selection of ribs. I couldn't find baby back ribs so I used Country Style ribs which I thought was to fatty for me. Would I use again...probably cause it was fast and easy to make. I also placed the ribs in the oven after cooking in the crock pot to caramelize the sauce to the meat. I do have another recipe for BBQ ribs that takes alot more prep time, but the ribs are fantastic.

Yum! Bake or grill at the end to make the sauce thicken. So, good and easy. You must not Skip baking them in the beginning.

Tweaked the sauce by adding BBQ sauce. Only cooked for 6 hours in slow cooker but it was still fall off the bone. Carmalized in oven for 10 minutes. Very yummy. Will definitely make again. Thank you for sharing.

yummy...meat falling off the bone when you pick them up! i used sweet baby ray's bbq sauce, but i did follow the cooking instructions in this recipe which i think is the "trick" for making tender, flavorful ribs.

These turned out fantastic! I altered the recipe. I used 2 cups of Sweet Ray's BBQ sauce and 1 cup of Ketchup with 5 lbs of ribs. There was a little bit more sauce that I needed. The meat was so tender it fell off the bone. I also put the ribs in the oven at 400F for 10 minutes at the end to carmelize the sauce. The ribs were a hit! My husband along with my guests would not stop raving about them. Thank you for a great recipe.
