I got a slow cooker for christmas and it had been a while since i've had chili and i've never actually made it myself so i used this recipe.
It turned out great! I made only a few changes. I read that it tended to be a bit dry with the amount of tomato sauce used so i used about 14-18 oz of a "classic spicy tomato sauce". I also added cumin and garlic pepper. When i cooked the hamburger i cooked in some garlic and a few spices i like suchas the garlic pepper, garlic salt, and crushed red peppers. Also i topped it with a blend of mexican shredded cheese on individual servings
It turned out great, i served it to about 6 people. No complaints and very little left overs !
