This was really good. I did however add a few things. I added cooked turkey strips and 1/4 cup of parmesan and 1 can of cream of chicken soup. This mad for and all in one recipe and the whole family loved it!

I made a trial run of this recipe before Christmas. I made some modifications for the Christmas meal that made it much better. Instead of using sharp cheddar, I used a combination of cheddar and velveeta, which made a milder taste. Rather than used the crushed butter crackers, I crushed seasoned croutons. The seasoned croutons made an excellent topping and added MUCH more to the dish than the butter crackers. It was so nice to use the crock pot and not tie up the oven. My guest commented on it and went back for seconds. I will make this again for holidays, church dinners, ect.

The base recipe works very well. I had a very large group to deal with and used 32 oz. of broccoli, added some sour cream and extra cheese. Depending on family taste buds cream of chicken may fit better than cream of celery. With celery there's a hint of a sweet aftertaste - not unpleasant, but unexpected in a vegetable dish. Invariably I get asked for the recipe with this one. Definitely a keeper.

Yum! This is super easy too. I made it last Thanksgiving and it was perfect since I needed something that didn't require the oven. :) Everyone loved it.

This is probably the only cheesy broccoli I will ever eat. I actually enjoyed it, and it was easy. I don't like broccoli with lots of cheese, so I left off the cheese at the end, and put it on the table for anyone who preferred more. It had a nice consistency and taste.

I think I cooked mine a bit to long. The broccoli came out way to mushy and just made it taste like a homemade cream of broccoli soup. Still good though, next time I'll add more cheese!
