I added bacon and bit of Worcestershire sauce after trying the original recipes. Mmm.. bacon makes everything better. =)

Easy and delish! Just added some red peppers, red pepper and a little water to help with the simmer. Very tasty!

Never buying Manwich again! This is so easy, and even better than the canned stuff! I added a bit more brown sugar because my husband likes it sweeter. So glad I found this!

These are THE BEST sloppy Joe's I've ever tasted. My picky picky boyfriend even approved! I left out the green pepper and onion, though. I don't think sloppy joes are meant to be crunchy :)

Could not have been any easier. Had everything on hand. Loved the green peppers. Won't be buying the canned stuff ever again!

This recipe was too sweet for my taste. I feel like it could have done without the brown sugar, since the ketchup has sugar in it anyway. I added some chili powder and paprika to balance the sweetness, which ended up tasting like a really great BBQ sauce. Not my favorite for sloppy joes, but the hubby told me to write it down as a BBQ sauce recipe! I think next time I will leave out the brown sugar and maybe try tomato sauce or stewed tomatoes instead of ketchup. All in all, it wasn't bad, but I'd rather have the canned stuff than this recipe.

I don't usually like Sloppy Joe's or green bell peppers but my husband loves them so I thought I'd give this a try. I really liked it, even the kids. I wouldn't change anything although it seems like a versatile recipe. Thanks for sharing!

This recipe was way too sweet for my family. I doubled the recipe but left the brown sugar as it was and it was still too sweet. Thanks anyway but this one isn't for my family.

I thought it was simple and tasty and I've made it a couple of times. Unfortunately it was a little sweet for my daughter who tends to say that about a few things that I like. Good recipe if you don't mind a little sweetness, which of course you can adjust.
