Not bad! Made exactly as written and served on regular toasted sandwich bread. Good flavors, even though it was a touch bland and just a touch too sweet. I like my sloppy joes a little tangier, but this was still great as is!

I used leftover turkey vs. ground beef. Otherwise, I didn't change the recipe. A little sweet too sweet for us. Perhaps vinegar or Worcestershire sauce would make it five stars. I put everything in a mini-crockpot and cooked for hours. Yummy!

Really good. I like to mix it with Israeli couscous. The kids like it too.

This is a great recipe. This is a simple recipe that is quick and easy and is much better than canned sauce, and I rated it as such. I made as is except used half the sugar and doubled the sauce because I like "sloppy" Joes but either way, the flavor is great and it is ready in no time. I have a super low simmer burner and didn't need to add any water, it gently simmered in a newer non-stick pan for 30 minutes perfectly.

LOVED IT!!!!! I was totally impressed! I made it exactly like the recipe said & the only thing I will change is doubling the sauce to make it sloppier!
