Delicious!! I just threw the ingredients together without even measuring them, didn't have green peppers so used mushrooms and it still turned out amazing! Foolproof recipe! Will definitely make again :) Thanks!

Even my picky PIA husband loved this one. Was out of onion which I'm sure would only add to the flavory yumminess!

This recipe was really good although a little sweet. As others have stated, I added water, a little cayenne pepper, 1/2 c ketchup & 1/4 c BBQ sauce. Next time I'll omit the sugar and it should be terrific. Thanks Tamara, great recipe.

Delicious!!! My husband likes his a little sweeter, so I added some extra brown sugar the first time we made it. The second, I didn't add it and he thought it was just as good! I may have to try adding the BBQ sauce like another reviewer recommended. Sounds amazing! Also adding cheese and broiling also offers a great, finger-licking eatability (yeah... its a word now)!! Thanks SO much Tamara for this. :)

pretty good. i made a few changes : added a splash of worcestershire sauce, used an 8oz can of tomato sauce and added ketchup as needed( to make it sticky), also used about 1/2 cup of bbq sauce. the mustard in this recipe is great to balance out the sweetness.

my husband & I love this recipe. I like to exchange the ketchup for tomato paste as well & add beer to make a bit more sauce & a deeper flavor, though water works just as well if little ones are involved. Very tasty!

I made this for my son's first birthday party, and everyone loved it! My husband won't let me buy Manwich (he thinks it's gross), so I had to find an alternative. This was delicious and super easy to make! I will definitely make it often for our family dinner. Thanks for the recipe, Tamara!

I increased the ketchup to 1 full cup and added 1/3 cup bbq sauce to this dish. It was looking a bit dry for the simmer and I found the extra sauces were just right! GADS this was good and I made my Belles Hamburger Buns recipe to go along with them. They are a bit denser than store bought fluff, so it makes a REAL hearty meal! Thanks for sharing Tamara!

i do declare that this is the best darn sloppy joe i had since my mama made in some in Savannah. howevah, i do declare that the use of tomato sauce instead of ketchup is mighty fine. my ornery boyfriend really settled down when he had a bite of this meat goodness.

I used a can of tomato paste to thicken things up a bit and also used some general "Italian blend seasoning" came out better than the type in a can.

Just making this for dinner tonite, I actually had a can of manwich sitting on my counter but this seemed so simple and I had everything on hand. Followed the recipe exactly, LOVE IT!! I think that can of Manwich will be sitting in my cupboard for a very very long time! Thanks for a great recipe.

This recipe is fantastic! I didn't have bell pepper on hand so I didn't use it but I can imagine it would make the mixture even better -- and that is hard to imagine. Husband LOVED it!

So easy, quick and really good. Kids love them too. I use whatever color pepper I have on hand, sometimes sub bbq for halve the ketchup, and it can be made even without onion and pepper. This mommy of 4 really appreciates this recipe!

Pretty good. I was kinda if-y about ketchup and brown sugar. All I could smell was ketchup, but after simmering I have to say the taste was good. Next time I think I will omit the sugar since it was too sweet for me.

This recipe is the best sloppy joe recipe I've ever tried. My family and I have had this recipe twice and it is a really great recipe. I think everyone would love this recipe. I used onion powder instead of onion because my children don't like onions, but it works good. Thanks for the recipe.

I used this recipe for work and make it 250 serving the only thing I will change next time is, cancel out the brown sugar. With the larger amount the ketchup would make it sweet enough. We served it open-face and was enjoyed by all. THANK-YOU for making the recipes able to change amounts, this helps out when having to make large amounts.
