This was very good! My husband loves BBQ sauce so it was a big hit. I didn't put the brown sugar in it and it was still sweet. Next time I will use a more spicy BBQ sauce to make it less sweet. But otherwise amazing!

PERFECTION! This recipe for Sloppy Joe Mix is way better than the packet or canned mixture. My Family and I loved it. My Aunt who always gets heart burn from Sloppy Joes and doesn't particularly care for them, really liked them too! And guess what, She didn't get heartburn. This comfort food recipe is a definite keeper.

Came out great! I just did what others did and used less sugar and vinegar. I might just use a little less mustard next time also. This is a keeper!

My very picky son gave this a "YUM!" That's 5 stars in my book! I was in a hurry so used dried minced onions and garlic powder, otherwise recipe as written. :)

I made a few changes to fit my tastes and to make it a little healthier. I used ground turkey instead of ground beef (the flavor of the whole thing is strong enough that you can't taste the difference). I shredded a small carrot and diced half a green bell pepper. I diced a small plum tomato but didn't add it until after the meat and sauce were mixed together (so all the freshness wouldn't cook out). I drained all the water and grease from the meat after it was cooked and cooked it to a nice brown (hazard of cooking with ground turkey). I also increased the garlic cloves to 5 and added a few dashes of garlic salt (I really love garlic).

This is like a mild barbeqeu sauce so I use it to make that also.
