I loved this recipe! It was easy and fast. I made 2 small changes: I added crushed red pepper and used dried minced onion instead of an onion but doubled the amount of garlic. Only thing I will change for next time will be I will leave out the Italian seasoning.

Everyone seemed to enjoy these! I added diced red pepper, but other than that made exactly as directed. After refrigerating overnight, I heated in the crock. They were definitely on the vinegary side, I added some beef broth to dilute. Next time I will only add a couple of tablespoons of vinegar. Thanks for a fun recipe, Sandra!

These taste fantastic! My whole family loved it. I subsituted ground turkey for ground beef. If you've ever had the sauces at Famous Dave's restaurant, this tastes just like them. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I'm only give this 3 stars. It was too sweet. If I make this again I will modify the amount of ketchup, BBQ sauce, and brown sugar used. I think its a good basic recipe but it needs some tweaking.

yummy, even though I didn't have onion powder, sprinkled in a little chilli powder too. I halved this recipe and had left overs for lunch the next day

we loved this. i used ground turkey and i cut the brown sugar by a quarter. also, i didn't have an onion so i used a little extra onion powder, and i ran out of a BBQ sauce so ended up using about 3/4 as much as listed. i also added a small splash of liquid smoke. will definitely make this again.

This was delicious!! I put this in a casserole dish between two layers of crescent rolls and sprinkled the top w/sesame seeds. So good! Usually when I make this casserole for my family I use a packet of sloppy joe seasoning w/tomato sauce. Never again!

I made this for my sisters baby shower and everyone loved it! I didn't use the onions or peppers and used ground turkey instead of beef. It was SOOOO tasty EVERYONE made sure to get the recipe before leaving and no one could believe it was made with turkey! Thank you so much for sharing!

So good! I too skipped the sugar after tasting- it was sweet enough for our tastes. I added 1/2 a bell pepper chopped finely and I used ground turkey! It was great! Smelled wonderful while simmering too.

I'm no expert cook like most of you but since I "home office" I've been doing most of the cooking and my family loved this one. We're not big on BBQ and Ketchup so I halved the BBQ sauce, substituted the Ketchup with Hot Chunky Salsa, and left out the Vinegar and Brown Sugar.

We love this recipe! It's a good mix of flavor..not just tomato saucy like most sloppy joes.

After reading the reviews I decided to taste before adding the sugar. The bbq sauce seemed to add just enough sweetness for us so I also omitted the vinegar. Altho I didn't think this tasted like a traditional sloppy, we still thought it was very good and being that my youngest daughter is a bbq sauce nut, she thought they were out of this world. Thank you Sandra for a delicious, quick and easy dinner!

After browning the beef, onions and garlic I used the crock pot to do the rest and it was fabulous! I can't compliment the recipe enough. I did not change anything except I did not have enough catsup and it was not missed.

Fantastic sloppy joes, athough these are really more a barbecue sandwich than a true sloppy joe. A little on the sweet side though so next time I'd cut the sugar. Very tangy and great flavor overall. I used Sweet baby Ray's sauce and didn't have fresh onion so I used onion powder. I used celery salt instead of plain because it sounded good. Thanks, these were really good!
