My son was raving about these. He won't eat sloppy joe mix from a can and he had two of these for dinner. I loved them too. Nice and sweet, and tangy too. Perfect. I doubled the recipe to make enough for 4 people. I loved it and didn't change a thing.

This was very good. Per other reviewers I chopped an onion and added it to the ground beef. I also added a dash of chilli powder and a dash of cayenne. These were very tasty with a little zip.

After using numerous sloppy joe recipes, this is the one that seems to satisfy all of my family members. My husband does not like sloppy joes that have vinegar or "sour" taste. These fit the bill -- he was happy, and our children liked them as well.

I found it to be a little salty. Next time I will probably omit the added salt because the ketchup is high in salt already. Overall very yummy!

This is a very good recipe! The brown sugar adds a bit of sweetness to it. Will be making this more often!

My family likes this recipe so much that I have two cans of Manwich in my basement pantry that I keep forgetting to use. I also like this recipe because it doesn't call for anything that I don't already have on hand.

Overall decent recipe. Very cheap and easy to make. I like to add a little Sriracha for a little kick.

I haven't eaten sloppy joes for years and thought I would try them again and was pleasantly surprised. They were far better then I had remembered and this will certainly become a go to recipe as it is quick and easy. The only change I made was adding a tsp of chili powder and a 1/4 tap of cayenne pepper.

I used this recipe to make 15 lbs of sloppy joes for my mom's surprise 50th birthday party. They were a HUGE hit and the flavor was amazing. I will be making these again and again. Thank you!

I made this recipe because I didn't have any sloppy joe mix at home. It turned out good! I didn't have onion powder so I used about 2 teaspoons of minced onion. I will use this again!

I always ate homemade sloppy joes growing up. The first time I had mamwich, I couldn't believe people liked the stuff. This recipe is very good and similar to what I ate growing up. I made it as directed, except for adding some vinegar.

used ground turkey instead and it came out delicious and a little healthier. Also added canned mushrooms. Next time will add some chopped hot pepper to spice it up a little bit! Very good and easy.

This was good, not quite the same as manwich, but a good substitute that contains ingredients I always have on hand. I think next time I would increase the amount of sauce, as it seemed a little dry.

Wonderful recipe. Way better than the store bought stuff. My husband LOVED it, and didn't even believe me that it was homemade. Definitly one of my favorites now.

I made these on a whim tonight and they were ok. I followed the recipe for the sauce but I added less water and cooked it faster...I spread cheddar cheese on top and served on buns... it was meant to be a simple dinner and it was. Thanks for the recipe.
