This is the best sloppy joe I've ever had! I did make some modifications though. I sauteed a whole onion into the mix before adding the meat. I skimped on the ketchup by about an 1/8th of a cup and added some BBQ sauce instead. I also used ground turkey rather than beef. If you're feeling adventurous and prefer it a little hot, a few squirts of Sriricha (or Rooster sauce) goes really well in the mix. Enjoy it on a thick kaiser roll or a hearty scoop of mashers!

So, so yummy! I added some old bay seasoning instead of the onion powder, and put in about a tablespoon of barbeque sauce. Also, instead of regular salt, I put in seasoned salt. Came out perfect! My whole family loved them!

My family loves this recipe - and I didn't change any ingredients. Just multipled, since there are four of us (and we always want leftovers!) The kids have begged me to never use canned sloppy joe sauce ever again!! Thanks for the recipe!

These were pretty good.....perfect on a night that you have ground beef and no clue what to do with it! We left out the mustard because we are not fans of it, but later put it in because I guess the point of it is to counteract the sweetness of it all so luckily we couldn't takste it! (Oh and we put in less than the full amount of mustard).

The last reviewer must have done something wrong because this was great! The only changes I made was I used real onion (minced) and added one teaspoon of white vinegar. I thought it was great and so did my family.

This is a good recipe. A little sweet for our family. Next time I will cut back on the brown suger and/or add some significant spice to balance it out. Still, very good.

It was great! Very easy and cheap! I used real onions and garlic and even added green onions. Great to make when i only have to feed myself. Just reheat and you have another meal!

I finally found the sloppy joe recipe I have been searching for! I doubled the recipe and added an extra tablespoon of brown sugar. I think I sprinkled in some Chili Powder but it was perfect without it. Thank you so much!

Easy and delicious. I sauteed onions with the hamburger and added a few grains of cayenne to the sauce~~otherwise, I didn't change a thing. Served on bulkie rolls with oven fried potatoes (from this site) and corn on the cob. A great Saturday night meal that everyone loved.
