I thought these were really yummy. I served them at a baby shower today and everybody raved over them! I used Kings Hawaiian Sweet rolls as the buns and that just made it extra special!

Perfect Hearty Superbowl Sides! Easy to pick up and filling. They flew off the plate. The men and kids at the party loved them. Children took them home for their lunch boxes the next day. You definitely can't just eat one.

Very good and easy. A different way to enjoy hamburgers. I followed a reviewers advice and ate them on Hawaiian sweet rolls and it was okay but the flavors seemed to clash for me. Next time I'll try regular rolls - personal taste I guess. Still a great recipe that you can adjust to your own liking.

These are always a hit!! I started making for my family and once I made them for a get together it is a must that I bring to ALL functions. If you make them you have to use Kings Hawaiian Sweet Rolls. The are good with other brands but delicious with Kings brand. Also, if you have kids and are looking to save time from cutting the bread; you can use Kings Hawaiian Sub rolls. The sub rolls are already sliced and they are bigger than the standard roll. Also this recipe is like any other taste it as you go. Once you find what works for you the recipe will be awesome!!

Just made these for my family and loved them. Followed the recipe exactly and didn't have an overpowering mayo flavor.

I am from Texas and have only had frozen White Castle burgers, but these taste just like I imagine the fresh ones would! Seriously delicious and so easy. I did what another reviewer said and just removed all of the Hawaiian Sweet Rolls from the cardboard, sliced them horizontally and spread the meat over all of them at once.

This was a great recipe, though I changed some of the prep method(I know, I know, I was just leary of "sloppy joe on a bun" as several reviewers mentioned). I mixed better than boullion beef with minced onions and mayo(as close as I could get to the onion soup as we can't use it-my daughter has an MSG sensitivity), then I mixed in the ground beef and put it all in the processor(although I probably didn't need to premix before the processor). I then formed the meat mixture into small, thin patties and cooked them in a cast iron skillet over water, minced onions, and butter(1-2T butter, c of water-just enough to cover the onions completely). I opened a pkg of sunbeam dinner rolls, cut them in sets of 6(they come in 2sets of 12), placed cheese over the entire bottom bun-this ensures better coverage than placing the cheese on each patty. I placed the onion covered patties on top of the cheese, put a tiny amt of butter on the top bun, wrapped in sprayed foil, and popped them in the toaster oven sans cookie sheet for 10min to melt the cheese and warm the buns...they were EXCELLENT!!! The whole family said they were just like White Castle(that we haven't had in years although I am from Chicago), while Im the only one that ate WC slyders regularly &I don't think they are EXACTLY like WC, they are the closest I can come and far superior to the frozen version...they would be perfect party food since you could make the burgers in advance and then just pop them in the oven at party time!
