Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease pan. Combine dry cake mix with can of LUCKY LEAF Apple Pie Filling, 1/3 cup MUSSELMAN'S Apple Butter, and eggs (do not add oil or water). Stir well.
  2. Bake for the amount of time directed on box of cake mix. (Reference cake mix box for appropriate pan size.) Cool cake.
  3. Blend cream cheese, butter, confectioners sugar and 4 tablespoons of MUSSELMAN'S Apple Butter until smooth. Spread icing on cooled cake.

This cake is awesome! I made this for my dad last year and he was reluctant to share with anyone. Well he's going to be 70 tomorrow and I am making this cake again since spice cake is his favorite. We will see if he's going to be a party pooper and not share with all of the people he's invited.

This cake is deee-lish! I substituted applesauce for the apple butter, because I didn't have any, and it turned out great!

The title is absolutely true....so delicious, moist and easy to make.....My family and the guests at a church coffee hour went wild over this cake.....I would recommend this cake to everyone....
