These are the WORST yorkshire puddings i've ever tasted. I have made delicious yorkshire pudding faithfully every time I make roast beef or prime rib, and now it's Christmas Day, and the Yorkshire pudding I am renowned for that my family loves is ruined. I couldn't find my old recipe since the site was changed. These came out hard and crunchy and it tastes like overcooked refrigerated dough biscuits, and I baked them for only about half the time it called for. I like my yorkshire pudding soft, savory, hollow in the middle with a slight crisp on the outside and spongy enough inside to soak up my roast beef drippings off my plate. If you do also, steer clear of this recipe!

My mother's mom was a brit so the yorkshire pudding was a must at a roast beef dinner. This recipe was very easy, fast and turned out exactly as it should. The only thing I did differently was I used drippings from the roast pan instead of the vegetable oil. The puddings came out soooo crispy, yet light and hollow. YUMM!! Thanks for the recipe!

Fantastic, reminds me of my grandmother. Followed exactly except I used grease from my Turkey instead of the plain oil.

I tried a couple different recipes and this one was the easiest and rose the highest. I made this a few times now and my family loves it. I did add one teaspoon of salt because the origianl recepe made a little blend puddings. I wonder if anyone tried to line the muffin pan with disposable muffin baking cups. The pudding got stuck on the the muffin cup and I ended up throwing away the bottom part of the pudding.

OK, I followed this to the T, and all I have is ""english biscuts"". My eggs were room temp, flour sifted, and they are only as high as the amount of batter I poured in, so now what? Back to the toll house pkg!

I've never had these before, so nothing to compare to, but they were delicious!! I did add 1t. of salt. I also ended up with way more batter than the 12 called for. Another 6 maybe? One teaspoon of oil per cup was also WAY too much, so maybe the originator used a jumbo muffin tin. All three of my picky kids ate them without complaint, the hubby compared them to popovers(which I've also never had). Nice and simple, and much faster than making rolls like I usually do with roast.

This is the only recipe I will use for Yorkshire pudding again. They were high and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I used my blender to mix igredients and did add a pinch of salt. I was worried about the high temp for the whole cooking time, but it was fine.

They rose!! I followed this recipe and halved the ingredients to make 6 muffin tins. I used King Arthur All Purpose Flour and added a pinch of salt which you do need. I also left the batter at room temperature. I have been in the States for 3 years and my Yorkshires always flopped! thank you so much. x

This yorkshire pudding recipe actually seems to work! makes high yorkies with hollow middle. Modifications: I halfed the recipe -and still used 4 eggs to equal 1 cup of other ingredients and added 1/2 tsp salt. ...but they got very brown in aobut 20 minutes-had to reduce the heat with 10 min left. Finally took them out of the oven w 5 min to go. Not sure if it was my over-use of eggs, or something with the recipe itself. Even so, they were quite passable.

This was good, but not great. Mine did not puff up as I expected. I may make this again but I will also keep looking to see if I can find a better yorkshire pudding recipe.
