I didn't love this one. I really wanted to. I made it for my dad for Father's Day & followed the recipe exactly. It was very dry & not very flavorful. I listened to the comment of another reviewer who said her Parmesan-hating husband couldn't taste the cheese - big mistake. My dad couldn't even force it down. But my mom & I couldn't taste the cheese, so... maybe if your spouse is not a Parm fan you should skip this one. I'll keep looking for another yummy pan-fried chops with onion type recipe. This one missed the mark for our family.

This is wonderful!! My family loves it! I also cut down on the bouillon cube.. still I found it a bit salty and add more water to it.. I really simmered the chops until very tender but I lost a lot of the liquid even though I added more water. When it was cooked, I placed the chops on the platter and made gravy from what's left on the skillet (oil, drippings, remaining liquid).. I had fun preparing this dish! Thanks! This is a keeper!

Pretty good, I didn't have any beef bullion, only veggie, so I added some beef gravy powder to it. Also, added some spices to the flour for the chops. I would add mushrooms next time.

This was soooo good and pretty easy. The only thing I might change is to use less pepper. I thought it was perfect but my husband said a bit too much pepper.

According to my husband, this is a strong 4 star recipe, I say it's a weak 4. I did make some minor changes though. I browned the chops on the stove as stated, but put garlic powder, white pepper, seasoning salt and garlic salt in the flour mixture in a ziploc bag and shook the chops up in that then browned in the oil. I used three very large boneless sirloin chops from Costco but doubled the sauce amounts except for the onion. Instead of simmering on the stove, I put everything in a casserole dish layering except again I switched it up. first I put the onion in, then the chops with the cheese, then the potatoes sliced very thin with my mandolin, more cheese and then the boullion mixture. Covered with foil and baked at 350 for about an hour. The over all flavor I thought, was a tad bland, but the chops were super tender and the potatoes were done, that's always a plus! Next time I'm thinking more spice for more flavor and some sliced carrots would be great but with a bit of tweaking, this will be a 5 star I hope. Served with basic frozen peas which went well with it.

I really like this recipe, but my husband thought it was bland. I'll make it again, but add a little more seasoning, like maybe the dried mustard someone else suggested.

I have made this recipe several times already. This is without a doubt my husbands and my favorite recipe. My husband is general manager of a restaurant and says that if there was a way that these could be made faster he would love to put them on the menu. Thanks for the recipe, these are totally AWESOME CHOPS!!!

This was pretty good, the only thing I added was garlic powder. The hint of lemon is really great.

One of my family's favorites. Don't use any other kind of potatoes, the Yukon Golds give this dish a very rich flavor. A good dish for a cold day, all you need is a salad and you have a complete meal.

This dish is very good! I added paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper to the flour, also I sauted the onions a little and layer the chops on top of them. Instead of beef I used chicken bouillon. The family loved it and asked me to cook it again.

I was looking for something quick to make with the pork chops I had thawed out for dinner. I found this recipe at the last minute, read a few of the reviews and since I had all the ingredients on hand, I made it. I do agree with many other reviewers...the smell of this dish cooking was phenominal. The only thing better was eating it! My husband and I both enjoyed it very much. I can't wait to have the leftovers tomorrow for lunch! I will definitely make this one again and again! Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe!
