This is very fast and a great way to use leftover holiday ham. I did add the garlic powder and cumin, as other reviewers suggested. I used yellow peppers instead of mushrooms. Also, we added chinese noodles on top for an extra crunch. It was great.

Very tasty:) Added 1/2 tsp cumin & 1 tsp garlic powder-someone else recommended-next time i may add a bit more of both. This was the quickest & easiest thing I've ever made! This would be good with other meats as well I think.

The kids liked it. I thought it was ok. I used canned mushrooms because that was all I had on hand and added a pinch of dill.

This was VERY easy to prepare. It is also inexpensive and filling. I changed the reduced sodium chicken broth to ham stock and added pinto beans. I found it tasty and satisfying.

This was good! Thanks for a recipe using instant rice. (Often when I sub instant rice and try to use it with a recipe it dosen't work because I have the time or water amount "off".) This was great as a sidw with left over ham
