This coating for catfish is excellent. I used olive oil instead of butter and it was perfect. Thanks Traci!

Awesome! Thanks! I live in Louisiana where we love our Catfish! This was wonderful, and enough to coat 5 good size filets. Will use again! Thanks!

Excellent recipe. We used Halibut and it was very tasty, not fishy smelling and nicely flaky. We served it with a side of creamed spinach and a trio of different shaped pasta.

i used this recipe when i found some frozen cod fillet's in the freezer. for being cheap fish, that was frozen, this turned out great. I cut the fish into strips, and didnt use a bag to shake them in, i used a bowl. i pressed them into the flour mix twice too. turned out great, wish i had done this with the better fish earlier this week.

It is very easy to get the heat too high and scorch the cornmeal/flour coating. Take care.

This was good, but I found the flavor lacking in punch. Next time I might add some lemon juice or fresh cilantro.

Very Good!!! Will make again, but will add a bit more garlic salt as I thought it needed a bit more. Butter was good, just didn't add the full amount.

Excellent flavor! I didn't have onion powder so had to omit that. I also substituted white pepper for lemon pepper and added a 1/4 tsp of mustard powder. will be making again.
