Yum, Yum, YUM! I don't have a grill so I made this in the broiler and it was delicious. I paired it with garlicky baked butternut squash from this site. It was a very tasty meal!

This was awesome! I seasoned the steaks with Kansas City Steak Company Steak and Prime Rib seasoning before grilling. I basted the steaks while grilling with part of the butter mixture (to which I added fresh parsley). The remaining butter I melted on the steaks when they were done cooking.

This was OK, but just not the flavoring my husband and I like for steak. I will not be making it this way again.

As I love to grill I loved this, just used can't believe it's not butter instead. Turned out great, and fast to make!

Let me start by saying that I do not usually eat steak. I normally don't like it at all. The men in my family love steak so I decided to cook this for them. I have to say, it smelled so good after I put the garlic butter on it, I had to try a piece. I am hooked! Very tasty! We ALL enjoyed it. Definitely a keeper!

So good!!! I used both ribeye and bone-in ribeye steaks. The extra marbling is wonderful with garlic butter. Have cooked on mesquite coals and sautéed in the stove both methods work well. Of course grilling outside is preferred. Pool party guest never complain getting this awesome meal. "Hot in Vegas"

I have made this same type of butter garlic sauce for years. I have never really measured it out, just make it as garlic tasting as you like. I make enough to brush over the steaks while cooking. Sometimes I even saute some mushrooms in the garlic butter and pour that combination over the finished steak. This is good with just about any type of steak.

This is just a variation of the German "Krauter Butter" or herbed butter. Soften a stick of butter and add the garlic, freshly ground pepper, and combination of herbs that you like (thyme, rosemary, parsley, etc). Place the butter on foil and roll up. Let it harden in the fridge and just slice off a pat to put on grilled food. Everytime I've ordered a beefsteak in Germany, it comes with a piece of this melting "Krauter Butter" on it.

Actually, you don't even need the butter. Just rub the steaks with the garlic and then grill. These taste better than SteakHouse steaks! The garlic actually brings out the steak taste. Amazing! Everyone wants to know the 'secret' to our steaks. It's all about the garlic. :-)

AND DON'T CHANGE A THINK IF YOU LIKE A NICE, SIMPLE STEAK. FABULOUS. WHO WOULD THINK BUTTER ON A STEAK? IT WAS WORTH THE EXTRA CALORIES!!MY KIDS GOBBLED IT UP! AND I'LL JUST RUN A FEW MORE MINUTES TOMORROW!!! DIDN'T EVEN NEED MY A1 STEAK SAUCE THAT I LOVE. A WONDERFUL CREATION!! AND IT COOKED A BEAUTIFUL, MED RARE ON THE GEORGE FOREMAN.

Awesome! I didn't grill but pan seared, sauteed an onion and then made a gravy as suggested by another reviewer by adding butter, milk and Worcestershire sauce. Then I poured it all (including garlic butter) into a casserole dish, topped with some chopped mushrooms, covered with foil and baked for about 25 minutes at 350º (don't like rare steak). Very tender, didn't even need a knife.

I followed other reviewers suggestions, but all in all there weren't a lot of changes made. I rubbed the steaks with rosemary, thyme, salt and pepper, and let them sit for a bit. I also brushed the steaks with the butter mix while grilling, I followed the recipes directions for applying as well after they were done grilling. Honestly I didn't taste much flavor of anything on the steaks, they were just greasy from the butter, though they looked good. I wasn't impressed with the flavor and will stick to lemon pepper and garlic salt on my steaks after that bland meal.

I made this tonight for dinner and it turned out great!! I seared as someone else suggested (husband wasnt home to cook on the grill lol) then I added my own touch and took out the steaks leaving drippings in pan, added a little flour and butter, milk, water and a bit of worchestire sauce to make yummy gravy (add ingredients slowly and a little at a time simmering and stirring the whole time) then threw the steaks back in, this tendered them up (sirloin is usually tough) and everyone LOVED!!

Wow! This is restaurant quality. We used NY strips that came out great. For the butter I used about 1/3 c. with 1 & 1/2 tsp. of minced garlic in the jar, 1/2 tsp. of garlic powder, and 1/4 tsp. dried parsley. I let it get to room temp. and made a paste. I put it back in the fridge while the steaks were on the grill. Once they came off, I let the butter melt over them.

Delicious!Followed the recipe exactly except for 3 servings. Grilled medium -rare. Had enough leftover for next days Po-Boy sandwiches! UPDATE: Anyone who doesn't try this wonderful recipe is really missing a delicious dish! This marinade would probably be great on any kind of beef..maybe other meats, also.
