Oh. My. God. Hands down, the best steak I've ever made myself, and definitely up there with the best steaks I've had. I only had garlic salt on hand, so it was a bit salty, but I know it will be killer with garlic powder instead. I scaled down the recipe for 2 steaks (petite filets, but they were seriously on sale!) and used 1/4 c. butter and 3-4 cloves of garlic finely crushed. I sprinkled some pepper and garlic salt on the steaks before putting them on the grill, and grilled them to about medium. Definitely give them some time to rest and soak up the yummy garlicky flavor! Served with baked potatoes and green beans... yummmmmm!
