the brownies were pretty good,but the best. We ate them warm with ice cream and they were gone in like 15 min (didn't have any walnuts, so I omitted)

Made these as written, and the texture was great. They were good and fudge like. I found them to be too sweet for my taste, and I like more of a rich chocolaty flavor. My kids loved them though!

Mmmm! These are fantastic, I wouldn't change a thing. I've tried about a half-dozen other brownie recipes, and they usually come out too cakey and fluffy. These are fudgy, chewy, and dense - just the way I like 'em. And simple enough to make that my 3-yr-old helped out. We ran out of vegetable oil while mixing ingredients, so we had to substitute with coconut oil. Seemed to add extra richness, fine by me. This is one for the recipe box!

This is the best brownie recipe I have found on this site. When Marjorie said fudgy she actually meant it. I have made a few recipes and was always totally disappointed to end up with cakey brownies. I didnt use choco chips cause I didnt have and and no nuts cause my 18 mo old is still learning to use his teeth but it was still freaking awesomely yummy!!! Thank you for the awesome recipe and the much needed fix for fudgy brownies Marjorie

These were so delicious and easy! I didn't put the nuts or chocolate chips. Instead about five minutes before done I melted two dove bars and spread on top. I put them back in to finish. My husband said they are his favorite!
