This is a very simple, but delicious recipe... only uses one or two bowls... I didn't have to pull out my mixer. Needs the chocolate chips to give it enough chocolate flavor.

I didn’t like this recipe; I knew before I made it that it wasn’t going to be sweet enough for me, so I added Chocolate chips. I found the chocolate chips were the best part, and I found that I could taste the vegetable oil in it. I won’t use this recipe again but it was worth the try.

I loved how this recipe was just as easy as a mix. I skipped the nuts, and didn't put many chocolate chips on top. It was the best homemade brownie I've ever made.

These brownies came out awesome and are really easy to make. I wished they tasted a little more fudgy, but honestly they are very good. I baked mine in one of those take along pans, had a 3 person dinner party and half of them are gone!

AWESOME! Five stars isn't enough. These came out perfectly. I left out the walnuts & chocolate chips and added chocolate syrup. They didn't have the oiliness a few others mentioned. They were very moist, cakey yet chewy, and the flavor was deeee-lish! Oh, and they only took 25 mins to bake. (Another reviewer mentioned the ideal way to guage if brownies are done - when they first start to pull away from the pan. That works!)

A little too greasy/oily for my taste, but the chocolate flavor was just right. Thank you for sharing!

Ooh so good! After cooled completely, about 1hr. I beat 1/2 cup butter, softened 1/2 cup p.b, 2 cups powdered sugar, & 2 tsps milk until smooth. Spread evenly over brownie base. Microwave 1 cup choc chips & 1/4 cup butter 30-60secs; stir until smooth. Cool 10mins; spread over filling. Refrigerate 30mins or until set. Enjoy! Store covered n frig. (for doubled recipe)

These are pretty good, expecially considering how easy they were to make. The only thing I would do different is add more chocolate chips to the top. I will for sure be making this recipe again.

My 11 year old made these for fathers day. Her daddy loved them. I liked that they were very easy for her to make. They tasted a lot better than the boxed stuff and were just as easy to make. We liked the chocolate chips on top. The serving size seems to be way off we only got 6 brownies not 16.

I used 1/2 the oil- lots of chocolate chips- & even added chocolate frosting one time. A chocolate lovers dream!

Chewy and moist- Yum! I reduced the oil to 1/4c, left out the nuts, and stirred the chocolate chips into the batter. I prefer my brownies a bit richer, but that's only my personal preference- thus the 5 stars!

The first time I made these, they turned out very well. The second time, they were horrible and I didn't do anything different. I was wondering if it was a problem with the flour. I won't be making these again.

I thought these were pretty good. I prefer a more fudgey brownie so that's why I didn't give it 5 stars.

Best brownies that I have made from scratch. I made a double batch and used roughly 5/8 cups of oil instead of 1 because of the other comments. If I made them over again I think I would leave out the chocolate chips because it turned out to be too much chocolate.

Almost the perfect brownie in my book! I like just a tad more chocolate flavor. I used semi-sweet chips, but next time I will use milk chocolate!! I also had to bake about 32-33 minutes.
