Consistency was pretty good but I thought it was too sweet and I thought the shortening was too obvious in the overall flavor. I'm going to look for another recipe. Or try to adjust this one and leave out the shortening.

I just made this frosting to pipe onto twelve cupcakes. I did use one stick plus two Tbs salted butter instead of butter and shortening, just personal preference. I saw other reviewers mention it was too sweet so I added about 1/2 tsp salt. This added the perfect balance for me. I did beat the heck out of this frosting and it was well worth it. Great flavor and very fluffy! Will use this again.

Really yummy! I didn't have milk so I substituted it with 2 1/2 tablespoons of vanilla greek yogurt and it tastes FANTASTIC. Great recipe.
