I have made these time and time again. My favourite is probably when I slice mini caramel cups in half and press into these fresh out of the oven cookies. My friends and family literally ask for these as Christmas and Birthday gifts. Thank you so much for the recipe!

NOT for cookie cutters! I made these with my daughter and didn't realize that we wouldn't be able to use our holiday cookie cutters in this dough. It's way to buttery to hold a shape - and they change a bit while cooking - but the ARE delicious.

Absolutely perfect and exactly what I wanted, especially awesome that I had all the ingredients on hand :) As it so happened, I left the recipe with one stick of butter short and left it uncorrected until after refrigerating the mixture for an hour (not plastic wrapped, just covered) Despite adding the butter late, it came out absolutely delicious

These were so simple. I wanted to make an easy sweet that I knew I'd have all the ingredients for and this was perfect. The powdered sugar gives it that melt in your mouth texture. I will definitely be making these again!

This is the second sugar cookie recipe I've tried today. The first didn't work out very well, so I decided to try this one and they are perfect! Only thing I did differently is add 1tsp. almond oil extract (I also added it to the frosting). The dough was easy to work with and I didn't even have to chill it. I did the first batch right away and they turned out great!
