"A simple salsa recipe that I received from a friend. Great for parties and football games. Optional: cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour to allow the flavors to mix."

jalapeno pepper, or more to taste
1 (28 ounce) can
diced tomatoes with juice
white onion, coarsely chopped
garlic cloves, coarsely chopped
We loved this with tacos, chips and spanish rice. You don't really need to cook the peppers, although I do recommend seeding them - wear gloves. Thanks for a fun recipe to add to my faceless 4th of July menu.
