This is one of the best fish dishes I have ever eaten. I thought I had taken out tilapia but it was cod. It still tasted awesome. I used it with a fish taco recipe from this site. Very tasty. Thanks for the recipe.

This recipe was very easy although I changed it some. I dipped the filets in ranch salad dressing and then coated them with Italian seasoned bread crumbs. I then pan fried the fish in a little butter. The taste was excellent! Thanks for the idea of using ranch dressing. We will definitely make this again.

What a great new way to make tilapia!! It tastes fresh and light, even though my fish were frozen and the spices are dried. It also feels indulgent, even though it's not too unhealthy.

Awesome recipe, all of my roommates loved it, even the picky one! I doubled the recipe but still had to use a bit more oil to cover all of the fish, but I did pick really big fish fillets.

This was very good. I would suggest that instead of adding ranch dressing, double the amount of ranch dressing powder mix (use 2 envelopes instead of 1) and add a bit more oil to the "paste". Also this cooks VERY quickly so keep an eye on it.

I generally don't like fish but my husband does so I try recipes to cover up the fish taste. This was one we both liked.

To add some extra ranch flavor, I mixed some bottled ranch dressing in to coat the fish before breading. My husband loved them, but said that he couldn't tell that they were supposed to be ranch flavored.

Very tasty recipe. Added about half a TBSP to the ranch mixture because it was a little to thick.

We liked this recipe. I gave it a 4 only because I altered the recipe. Instead of making the paste I added the ranch dressing (buttermilk flavored)to plan bread crumbs dredged the fish in egg then fried in olive oil. Used pollack as the fish will try with chicken breast. Thanks for the recipe

Excellent. I altered the recipe only by using frozen fillets (unthawed)and baking them for 20 minutes at 425. The fish turned out excellent, my husband loved it, my picky kid ate it and asked for seconds. I did not find it too salty. We will be adding this to our regular rotation

Very quick & tasty. I agree with others that it was a bit salty, luckly we had egg noodles with butter and that helped cut down on the salt. I will make this again.

Tasty! The flavor was a big hit but it was a little salty. If they in fact make a low sodium ranch mix, I would definitely use that. I used a bit more butter than the recipe called for and a let the breading sit on the fish for twenty minutes or so before cooking.

Not the best recipe I have tried for talapia....maybe it was the ranch seasoning...the fish tasted, well, sour. My kids who love fish did not like this one.

Excellent! We've tried a few different recipes for tilapia and so far this is the best. The longer you leave them in the pan, the crispier they get. We loved every bite and fought over the last piece!

My husband loved these! I made them just as the recipe says. I served them with asparagus wrapped with bacon and done in the broiler while the fish was cooking on the stove. So quick and easy!
