Fantastic! Great flavor! I also mixed in an egg with my BBQ sauce so that it would stick to the ribs and, oh boy, was it wonderful! Thanks for sharing.

Excellent!!!! Wouldn't change a thing. I only added more seasoning and onions and garlic to my pot when I boiled the ribs. Also made my bbq sauce from scratch. But great!!! Has become a household favorite.

These were very good and melt in your mouth tender! Took others advice and used about 3/4 c soy, 1/4 c Worcestershire, 1 tsp liquid smoke and quartered an onion when boiling. I started them early so I took them off the heat, covered them, and let them sit for about an hour before baking. Yum!!

I always read the reviews of the recipe before making it and take the advice of the writers. So I made a few changes to this recipe but I think the original recipe would be equally good so I'm giving it 5*. Here's what I did. Added to the boiling water the following: 1 cup soy sauce, 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce, 2 tsp. liquid smoke, omitted the salt b/c of the soy sauce, added 1 large onion cut up, added 2 large carrots cut up. Boiled for 45 minutes; then took off the heat and let sit, covered for 3 hours in the broth. Baked for the prescribed time (needed 1 hour 10 minutes) and they were fall-off-the-bone tender. Will be making again when this kind of ribs goes on sale.

This was my first time attempting ribs so I was super happy they came out so tender and my family loved them! I didn't boil them for the full time. I cut it short by about 30 mins. and I added 30 mins. to the bake time!

These were fantastic!!! First time I've ever made country-style ribs & they came out perfect! I made my own BBQ sauce instead of using store bought. The boyfriend was in heaven & so was I! Thanks!!!

I've never made ribs before and these were so tender they fell right off the bone. My roommate couldn't stop raving about how exceptionally good they were! I let the ribs marinate in the broth after boiling for about 2 hours, and doubled the barbecue sauce - you can't have too much of a good thing!

I can't believe I made these! They were tender and flavorful. Yummy! This was the first time I made ribs, and this recipe is perfect for a beginning rib-maker like me. I pretty much eye-balled the ingredients I added into the water. I also added fresh garlic and onion and a beef bouillion cube. I added the much-reduced broth to the rib pan in the oven. I only had to bake the ribs for an hour after boiling for 45 minutes. Maybe that's because I didn't have a whole lot of ribs. Please try these ribs!

FANTASTIC - I cannot say enough about these ribs. We used BEEF ribs, and no BBQ sauce (as we forgot to buy it). SO we just boiled in the spices, let sit, grilled for 1.5hrs the next day and they were DELICIOUS! We had friends who are GREAT rib griller's say that these were the best they'd ever had. A MUST TRY!

This is a sure thing when you have company over. I follow reviewer suggestions and add the soy sauce and quartered onion. I always boil the ribs for 45 mins and then bake for the hour and a half. I have made this for friends 4 times, and always receive rave reviews as I watch people go back for more and more. The meat is so tender, you can't stop picking at it.

Absolutely incredible. I've never made ribs before and this was the easiest recipe ever. I made some changes like others suggested: added soy sauce and 1/2 onion and a couple of garlic cloves to the water. I also baked it for 1 1/2 hours and then put it on the grill for about 5 mins each side to warm them up. The meat "feel off the bones" I'm told. In fact, I didn't even get to try one b/c they were gone so fast. I've been asked to bring them to 2 upcoming bbq's.

I did these for my father-in-law's birthday, he loves ribs, and I had NEVER made ribs in my life! I started to wonder what I was thinking testing this out on him, but he loved it, and asked for the recipe. I did use some soy sauce to boil them in as others suggested, boiled an hour, baked at 225 for another 1 hour 10 minutes. They were so tender, and even better the next day as leftovers!

Made these yesterday for the 4th and they were fantastic..and so easy! It was the first time I'd ever made ribs before. Followed the advice of others and after boiling let them sit in the water for an hour or so. Used Sweet Baby Ray's sauce. Can't wait to make again! Thank you!
