Yum! I did this recipe exactly as written and it was a huge hit at a party! I used to just use bottled barbeque sauce when serving little sausages, but never again. This is well worth the little bit of extra effort!

Cut large sausages into medium pieces. Substitued horse radish mustard for prepared horseradish. Used Splenda brown sugar spread (1/2 cup) and Heinz low carb ketchup. Next time I would use less brown sugar. It was a bit too sweet but really tender and good. Potato salad is good with it.

Really yummy. Really easy. A big hit at the potluck in the park and not a risk of illness from overheated mayonnaise!

THIS WAS A HIT!!!! THAMK YOU FOR THIS ONE. I HAVE 7 KIDS, ALL OF WHICH ARE VERY PICKY EATERS. ON CHRISTMAS I USED THIS AS AN APPITIZER. I HAD ATLEAST 10 AND THIS ONE WAS GONE IN A MATTER OF MINUTES, I EVEN DOUBLED IT....I DO NOT HAVE A CROCK POT SO I USED A POT ON THE STOVE.

I really liked this recipe. Instead of using a crockpot, I put everything in a saucepan and let it simmer on the stove. I didn't have any horseradish, but I did have some spicy brown mustard that had grated horseradish in it, so I used that, and it turned out very well. I used Hillshire Farms cheddar lit'l smokies.
