Original Recipe Yield 1 - 9 inch pie
 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cornmeal
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a medium bowl, stir together white sugar, brown sugar, cornmeal and flour. Mix in butter, eggs, vanilla and vinegar. Pour mixture into unbaked pie shell.
  3. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes in the preheated oven.
