This was great! I must admit that when I mixed the marinade and smelled it, I thought it smelled disgusting! I even warned my husband that we might have to end up making a pizza run! But sitting over night, it mellowed out and tasted nothing like it originally smelled! Loved it- thanks for sharing!

I liked this dish. I followed the directions. I think this is a very good dish if you don't have time to prepare the day of the meal because the only thing you have to do is make the marinade the night before and then just throw it in the oven. The flavor is not too spicy but intense - strong flavor.

Delicious. My family enjoyed it with a rice dish with zucchini and dill weed too. The yogurt sauce topped it off perfectly.

We loved this. The only change I made was substituting a Tzatziki sauce for this sauce (I really hate all things mayo). I really enjoyed the sweet, earthy flavors and the chicken was really tender. I only had time to marinate for about 4 1/2 hours, so I really can't wait to try it with the full 8 hours. I served the chicken with the Zucchini with Dill Weed recipe on allrecipes, and stuffed everything into pita pockets. One of the best meals I've made in a long time. Rave reviews from everyone.

I halved this recipe, and doubled the curry powder and forgot the allspice and cinnamon, but it was still pretty good! I didn't bother with the dipping sauce. I might add some more spices next time to make it a bit more flavourful.

Delicious! I followed the recipe exactly, although I used sour cream instead of yogurt (as that was all I had). Chicken came out tender and flavorful. Served it with tabbouleh on the side (recipe from this site). The dipping sauce was a nice complement, if a little strong--lots of garlic.

I took the advice of other reviewers and subbed lemon juice for the mustard, and doubled the curry powder and garlic. Also we didn't have ketchup in the house so I used some tomato sauce with a pinch of sugar and wine vinegar. Marinated overnight, baked in the oven, super easy!! And it was GORGEOUS! We love curry, and it was a big hit in our house. The garlic dipping sauce is VERY tasty too. We have been drizzling it over lots of other stuff, cos I made a double batch :) Thanks for sharing this fabulous yet easy recipe!!

Dipping sauce was excellent. I would have liked more spice in the chicken marinade. I will definitely make it again. Served with Tabbouleh II from this website. The zing of the lemon in the tabbouleh was a very nice accompaniment to the chicken.

This is excellent served with Chapati - it is pretty easy to make but much easier to pick up to go from an Indian Restaurant. So easy - marinate in a bag overnight, toss it in a pan (or oven) the next day and grab some flat bread to serve it on - no brainer!

I thought it was odd to make this with ketchup and prepared mustard but I thought I'd try it anyways. It turned out tasting artificial and inauthentic. I didn't like the odd sweetness to it. I won't make it again.

This was absolutely wonderful! I've never cooked Turkish food before but if this recipe is any indication, I will again, and soon! I served the chicken over rice and along side garlic Naan bread. The dipping sauce was scrumptious, and very garlicky. Be Forewarned: This recipe is for garlic lovers! And that certainly is my husband and I. He was licking the bowl with the dipping sauce! YUMMY!

This was a great dish! It was so easy to put together and the chicken turned out so tender. I think the dipping sauce compliments it very well. I served it was as side of coconut rice. Will definitely make again!

Can you say DELICIOUS! My husband and I just loved this recipe. It tasted just like the Shish Tawook sandwhich we get from our local Aribic resturant. I was so shocked at how easy it was to make one my favorite dishes in the world. Sorry to say our local resturant won't see much of now that I know how simple it is to make this wonderful dish!
