Excellent Recipe. I would suggest if you are adding guacomole, to add more beans and taco seasoning. I added that extra layer and it was a very creamy taco dip. I love the creaminess but I like a little mroe beans. To much creaminess can be overwhelming. Quck and easy!

Great! Added home made guacamole, did not add the tomato or olives. Girls at work liked it. Would like to try it with taco meat sometime. Great recipe, thank you for sharing!

This dip is always a hit at our family gatherings! I recommend using a "hot" taco season to add extra flavor.

Very good dip, in fact I am replacing my old recipe for this one. Love the cream cheese in with the sour cream. I did change one thing, only because of my preference, and that was use less Taco seasoning then called for.

I noticed that a few people commented that they didn't care for the lettuce cause it wilts... try shredded cabbage instead... it's more authentic for mexican style food and it holds up better. It also provides much more nutritional value as well as more flavor and crunch! I hardly ever use lettuce in my mexi recipes now!

This surpassed my expectations. I will add ground turkey next time, but my class loved it! It even pleased the vegetarians.

Very tasty!! Didn't use the bellpeppers, and added chopped white onions to the top. I doubled the recipe, but still used one package of taco seasoning. Would definitely make this again!

My sister has always made some variation of the basic layer dip recipe, but I swear by this website so I looked here first. I substituted organic black refried beans with roasted red jalapenos for the standard beans, black bean and corn salsa, 3 roma tomatoes instead of one large tomato, yellow pepper instead of green for more color, and 4-cheese Mexican blend instead of cheddar. I took it to my boyfriend's dad's birthday dinner and everyone loved it! It was a small gathering, but his brother-in-law even claimed the leftovers (half a 9x13) to take home. This will be a new favorite here.

Very good, and went over well at my party. Just be careful that you don't overdo it on the taco seasoning - my package was a little over the 1 oz it called for and it was too strong. Next time I may cut it in half. Very good recipe though!

Due to diet restrictions I made this with Fat Free Cream Cheese and Fat Free Sour Cream, as well as, reduced fat cheese. I served this in a small trifle bowl and it was beautiful. Layered as follows: bean mixture, cream cheese/sour cream mixture, Salsa, tomatoes, cheese, and lettuce. The rest of my family didn't know it was reduced fat until I told them. I used PACE Mild Salsa and even after trying to strain it it was still watery. I will try a thick and chunky salsa recipe the next time.

I have made this dip several times and it comes out tasting great every time! I do cut the recipe in half just to make it for around the house. I do have to say that I don't even use half of the packet of taco seasoning mix, just a few sprinkles is enough for me, I don't like it too overpowering. I also add in some store made guacamole on top of the beans, and mix the sour cream and cream cheese together as one layer. No matter how you make it, its very delicious!

This dip is amazing. I took some advice and added a pound of hamburger mixed with the taco seasoning, and I used the 13x9 pan. I made this for a party and it was gone b4 i could get any!

Easy and Yummy! I will make this again! You can just as easily put it in a 9x13 glass casserole, which makes it a little more easy to transport somewhere.
