Very good, and went over well at my party. Just be careful that you don't overdo it on the taco seasoning - my package was a little over the 1 oz it called for and it was too strong. Next time I may cut it in half. Very good recipe though!

Due to diet restrictions I made this with Fat Free Cream Cheese and Fat Free Sour Cream, as well as, reduced fat cheese. I served this in a small trifle bowl and it was beautiful. Layered as follows: bean mixture, cream cheese/sour cream mixture, Salsa, tomatoes, cheese, and lettuce. The rest of my family didn't know it was reduced fat until I told them. I used PACE Mild Salsa and even after trying to strain it it was still watery. I will try a thick and chunky salsa recipe the next time.

I have made this dip several times and it comes out tasting great every time! I do cut the recipe in half just to make it for around the house. I do have to say that I don't even use half of the packet of taco seasoning mix, just a few sprinkles is enough for me, I don't like it too overpowering. I also add in some store made guacamole on top of the beans, and mix the sour cream and cream cheese together as one layer. No matter how you make it, its very delicious!

This dip is amazing. I took some advice and added a pound of hamburger mixed with the taco seasoning, and I used the 13x9 pan. I made this for a party and it was gone b4 i could get any!

Easy and Yummy! I will make this again! You can just as easily put it in a 9x13 glass casserole, which makes it a little more easy to transport somewhere.

Great recipe. It was a real hit at Easter. Next time I think I will add a layer guac or just avocados.

Great dip!! As many others have said this was a HUGE hit. Made a couple of modifications of the recipe as others have suggested and it came out great. Added a layer of ground beef over the refried beans and also added a layer of avocado. Baked it in the over for a few minutes to warm up and melt the cheese.

Everyone LOVES this recipe. I also added taco seasoning to the taco meat. I like homemade guacamole so that was also a nice way to sneak in spice.

It was good - not extraordinary. Had to beat the cream cheese/sour cream mixture with electric beaters because it was lumpy. Added the shredded lettuce and cheese at last minute so it didn't get sloggy. I think it needs the lettuce. I like spicy - could have added some jalapenos I think.

This was great although I heated mine at 350 for about 15 minutes in a 9x13 pan just to get all the cheese melted. SO GOOD!!!!

The bell pepper is an excellent addition - everyone raved about it! I left out the lettuce which was fine (but would use it if I had it on hand).

Always a winner. I never have to bring back extras. Many ingredients can also be replaced with "healthier" alternatives, like reduced fat cream cheese, Fat free sour cream, reduced sodium taco seasoning, etc. No one notices the difference. Also, I never use lettuce or olives. Thank you so much!
