Quick easy recipe that disappeared fast. I skipped the lettuce and greeen pepper..so it really wasn't 7 layers..but the taco seasoning mixed with refried beans and the sour cream mixed with cream cheese is different from the normal taco dips that circulate around here..so it was a hit. Thanks for sharing! I will be making it again and again.

This is an amazing recipe! I am asked to bring it everywhere! I do substitute some things out, like I don't use , olives, or lettuce, but use guacamole instead (Luann's recipe on Allrecipes) and I add ground beef to the refried beans as well.

I've made this several times since getting this recipe from this site. Always a hit with the guests. I have two versions in the fridge. (Medium & Hot Salsa) Ready to take to our Independence Day Celebration.

Sour cream, cheese, refried beans and salsa...what's not to like??? I did, however, omit the olives and cut back on the onion but that's just per my personal taste.

I made this for my husband's work and they devoured it! I was a little hesitante with all the green onions and bell peppers, but they thought it was great!

This dip is soo good! I'm not a big veggie fan, so instead of tomatoes, I just used a can of Rotel. I also added hamburger meat with taco seasoning. This could be eaten as a meal...it is wonderful!

Great recipe- so quick and easy to make! Took me no longer than 10 minutes to prepare and make. I followed another member's suggestion to substitute for LIGHT cream cheese and sour cream to reduce calories- and it tasted just as good! Nobody could tell it was less than half the calories! **Instead of nachos, I cut up a bunch of pitas, brushed them w/olive oil and baked them in the oven. Soooo DELICIOUS! Thanks Sue

This is a fantastic recipe - I made it about a month ago for a BBQ and now everywhere I go everyone wants me to make this recipe. When I bring it for parties or for a get together it is the first to go. No changes to this recipe!

I personally would have given this 2 stars, my husband 4, so I met in the middle with 3. I thought it was bland and boring, definitely missing something. I'm not a huge fan of cold dips, so this may have influenced my opinion. I think if I ever tried this dip again, I would double the beans, mix the taco seasoning with the sour cream and cream cheese instead of the beans, leave out the lettuce, and add some beef. The salsa (I used a jar of homemade-style) made this dip very runny. If you're looking for a good bean dip, try Ranch Bean Dip on this site. It's wonderful.

Tasted awesome and got a lot of compliments from people at two different parties. I heated the refried beans and added the seasoning so it was easier to spread, didn't use lettuce or green peppers, didn't use all the sour cream mixture, added a layer of guacamole, and I split the recipe between two shallow serving trays. Everyone liked the thin layers because you got a taste of everything in one scoop. It is exactly one year later from my original review and this recipe is still being requested at every bbq/party/gathering of any sort that I go to. There are never any leftovers and people I've never met will find me to tell me how much they've enjoyed it. Thank you for this recipe!

We love this recipe. The only change I make is that I put the green onions on top of the cheese. My daughter requests this as her reward for good report cards. And in the summer, we use it as dinner on really hot days! Fantastic!

Delicious! To start with, I didn't use lettuce, green onions, or peppers, and I didn't use the taco seasoning. I put this in a 2-quart casserole as I planned to bake it. I used the beans for the first layer, then the cream cheese/sour cream mixture for the second layer, homemade guacamole for layer three, diced tomatoes next, then sliced olives, then salsa (I used fresh chunky salsa and drained it well). I covered it entirely in shredded cheddar and baked at 350 for about 35 minutes. It was a total hit with everyone who was there, and I handed out the recipe to a lot of people who tried it. Thanks!
