This was a very simple and quick meal to make. I used frozen shrimp instead of fresh shrimp and it worked just as nicely.

After trying to decide what to make for dinner, this recipe came up, I read the reviews and decided to add 2 TBS of sweet chili sauce to the marinade, I also added chopped green onions to the saute and frozen brocolli, even the kids loved it! WINNER WINNER SHRIMP DINNER~!

No fail recipe. You can add or subract veggies, but the flavors are there. I like other users boiled an thickened the marinade to use it over rice. It was great.

Rating reflect my slightly altered recipe. I didn't have lemon pepper but everything else was the same. This was very tasty but I do wonder what the lemon-pepper would have done for the flavor.

added my own ingredients (zuccini, brocolli, red onion, and bell pepper), more of the maranade with some corn starch for thickening.

This was good, and easy (except it states 15 min. ready time when you have to maridate for 30 minutes, which threw me off) BUT, I followed other reviewer's advice and used all of the marinade to cook the shrimp in. This was a mistake because the shrimp, although all curled up in O's already from the marinade (I guess) did not seem to be cooking quickly with all that liquid. So I poured the marinade into a sauce pan to quickly finish the shrimp. They seemed cooked already ( C-shaped is cooked, O-shaped is overcooked) and I didn't want them tough. So I boiled the marinade for 5 minutes, then poured it over the shrimp and quinoa I made to serve this over. It was way too salty. I think I should have discarded the marinade and just quickly sauteed the shrimp as written. I did follow the ingredients listed exactly. Sorry to change it then rate it lower...many reviews made me think this would be a good idea. Maybe following the directions next time will yield a 5 star. I also served broccoli with it, which was nice.

This recipe is good, but it is missing a little something. I even added a little honey as other reviewers suggested, and it still needs a little something more. I tripled the sauce recipe so I would have enough to pour on rice. If you really like sauce, I would do more than triple it, it really doesn't make a lot of sauce. Also, you might want to go a little lighter on the sesame oil, as it can over power the soy sauce. I also threw in some frozen broccoli. I don't know why this recipe calls for the shrimp to be removed from the marinade. Don't do that, just pour it all in a pan together so you have sauce for your rice or noodles. Everyone will probably need to tweak this according to personal taste but it is worth making.

This was absolutely delicious. I also added a tablespoon of honey but instead of making the marinade I used a store bought brand. Add a little water to thin it out because it can be on the salty side. It will cook down quickly. Thanks for sharing this recipe. I have added it to tmy recipe box. I can't wait to use it again.
