This was good, but not exceptional to receive 5 stars. Very easy to make!

Good, but it needs a little less soy sauce in the marinade. Just a pinch too salty. I think next time I'll increase the lemon, which might help. The rice is a must, and I added a side of snap peas with it.

I quadrupled the amount of marinade for 2 servings, and simmered it for about 15 minutes before throwing in the marinated shrimp. I also added some sliced green onions. It turned out great but would be even better with broccoli, mushrooms etc. Not bad at all though. Thanks, Jennifer!

I do much of the cooking and my wife wanted something with shrimp, so I searched for a new and simple way to prepare it and found this recipe. I already planned to add sweet peppers and green onions. I was surprised the onion wasn't an ingredient in this recipe since it is pictured with it. Not only adds to the presentation, but tastes great. Much credit to Jennifer for submitting this recipe, and credit to other reviewers whose advice I took. Such as, used fresh minced garlic instead of powder, used lite soy sauce, cooked the shrimp in all the marinade, removed and cooked broccoli florets in the marinade, then added peppers, then onion, and cooked all until tender crisp, and drizzled remaining marinade over rice. Will definitely make this again and will try with Asian noodles instead of rice for a change up.

Loved it! We didn't have any sesame oil so we just used olive oil, but the shrimp turned out amazing. We cooked it in the marinade, like others suggested. Definitely use the toasted sesame seeds--gives it that extra flavor.

This is a new favorite for my family! I did alter it a teeny bit though. I used more soy sauce and sesame oil than the recipe suggested. I also served it with curry fried rice. Thank you so much!!

Very simple to make. I had soaked the shrimp in Asian Sesame salad dressing the 2nd time I made this, I had a hard time looking for the sesame oil and all the ingrediants in the dressing were the same and it still tured out great.I want to make this again but with chow main noodles.THANKS FOR THE RECEIPE. :)

Way too much soy sauce. Used the marinade as a sauce to cook in instead.

I suprised my husband with this dish for his Birthday. What made this such a surprise was that I have never cooked shrimp. (I don't eat it) He cooks it often. He was sooo happy and so were our 4 kids. They were all asking for seconds, thirds etc. The only thing that I did different was add a little honey and Minced Garlic. The kids kept saying how good the food taste the entire time. This recipe is a keeper. I also added some chicken egg rolls on the side along with Brown Rice. :)

Followed other reviewer's suggestion and cooked shrimp in the marinade. Served it over orzo. Added green onions, pinch of dried pepper flakes, sprinkled with toasted almonds.

This was really good! Don't skip the step of toasting the sesame seeds - it really adds a great dimension of flavor. I added a bag of sugar snap peas to the skillet and served over coconut jasmine rice. My husband raved!

I also cooked the shrimp in the sauce. Then put rice and broccoli in a bowl with the shrimp and put some of the sauce over it.
