I had to use canned green beans because the fresh ones at the grocery store seemed a little wilted and limpy. Still was a good side dish though. Good, but not great or excellent.

I found this recipe absolutely fabulous. I did take the advice of other reviewers and added a couple cloves of garlic. This will be one of our family favorites. I can’t wait to make it for my friends.

Sorry but we thought there was just not enough taste to these. Would probably not make again.

Excellent, even though a little bland. I just add some flavors;sometimes garlic, sometimes ground cayenne etc. I now make a version of this about once a week! Thank you for the recipe!

My fiance is NOT a vegetable person. He really only likes string beans and sugar snap peas. I was looking for something new, interesting and quick as a side dish (trying to stay away from bad carbs). This is an EXCELLENT dish!! I made it for just two, omitted the salt (didn't even need it) and my fiance LOVED it. He asked for it again the next night! This is a keeper!

These were just ok. I thought they were rather bland. I added some sesame seed oil to liven it up a bit and THEN they actually had a taste. Probably won't make these again.

This recipe was OK but really nothing special. Beans seemed a little "oily" with not much sesame flavor. Probably won't make again.

This was so good! I loved the toasted sesame seeds! Used over a pound of fresh green beans and low-sodium chicken broth. Omitted the salt. I made this as a last minute thing to go with some grilled halibut and Hawaiian bread I had been planning to make for a while, and they (the green beans) turned out to be the best part of the meal!

Very delicious and easy to make. I added 2 cloves of garlic (minced) and will probably add more next time.

It was an enjoyable side dish, but as soon as you add the green beans the sesame seeds pop all over the place. It's helpful if you add a bit more olive oil, that way the beans don't stick together as much. For more flavor I added a little bit of sherry.

These come out perfect every time. Perfectly seasoned and perfect texture. I always have a hard time with fresh green beans (cooking too soft or too tough). These never give me problems. Love em!
