Not much flavor. Liked the sesame seeds, but needs something, like garlic, to really make the flavor "pop".

It was a bit of trouble to make. I added the garlic and red pepper flakes as others suggested, but I particularly did not like the part when the sesame seeds went flying through the air!

These were good, but I added a bunch of chopped garlic. I think that is what made these really good. Nothing super special, but a great way to do green beans.

Yum. I've made these a few times now. They're just so easy to make, and I love how I don't have to use any butter. I use EVOO for browning the sesame seeds, and I also throw in a little bit of garlic before I add the green beans (I use frozen, btw.. it's so much easier!). And something to try if popping sesame seeds is too much of a hassle: toast them in a 350 deg oven for about 10-15 minutes instead of frying them. Less mess, problem solved.

My husband and I enjoyed this version on green beans. It was very flavorful. My teenage boys not so much.

Good for an alternate to plain green beans but I would DR up a little more on the flavor next time! Thanks!

I added 3 cloves of garlic. I made additional servings the 2nd time and STILL had no leftovers! Thank you. Also, this pairs very nicely with Maple salmon by starfish on this site (be sure to add ginger with the salmon)!

FABULOUS!! So easy and quick to make (ie, no special ingredients needed...had everything in the house already) and were the best green beans I have had (or made) in a while. I followed the recipe exactly and will do so again. I look forward to making these again real soon, yummy! Side Note: I picked this recipe out at the last minute (ie, with < 30min left on the pork chops cooking in the oven and they were not only finished in time, easy to make and tasted so good. Plus they weren't smothered in fattening cheeses or butter to drown out the flavor, not salty either, and were low fat to boot.

For me the taste was pretty subtle, but my husband really liked these. Nice and simple. Sauteed with garlic and a tad of sesame oil.

I made them exactly following the recipe and they turned out very bland. I may make them again and try to doctor them up.

This was pretty good, but it took a lot longer to cook than I thought it would. I also added a ton more toasted sesame seeds because we love them. Pretty good recipe!
