Way too sweet as written, but easy enough to remedy. I used just one teaspoon sugar (Splenda, actually) and I was pleased with that amount. Other than this small issue, we loved it, tho' I did use butter rather than olive oil as I felt with the seasonings used here that butter was the better choice. Easily at least four stars just by adjusting the sugar.

Too sweet and odd tasting. No one in my family liked this, not even the 2 yr old.

I will use my steamer next time to get the broccoli consistency crisp-tender. Aside from that, it was an easy way to make broccoli tasty. My 4 y old said it was "yummy, so I ate it all up."

This was an excellent recipe for broccoli, plus I love sesame seeds! The only thing I did differently was to saute the broccoli in a tablespoon or so of the olive oil for a few minutes as opposed to cooking the broccoli in water. I then added the sesame seeds, tossing with the broccoli, cooking a couple more minutes. I then removed from the heat and added the sugar, lemon juice and soy sauce. This made the recipe even easier, and eliminated a pan for clean-up. Thanks so much for the recipe!

This was a great side dish to our asian inspired meal. I used frozen broccoli florets and a large splash of sesame oil too. What a nice change for something different. Thanks!

Nice flavor with just a touch of sweet. I only used 1 teaspoon of olive oil total (used to brown the sesame seed). I will try adding minced garlic for a different variety. Thanks for a great way to prepare broccoli!

This had a good flavor. Better than just plain old yucky broccoli. I added a little sesame oil along with olive oil.
