This was delicious! I mixed in some frozen broccoli and mushrooms, and doubled the sauce. my sliced round steak was only marinating for about an hour and it turned out really tender (to my surprise!). I served it with Brazilian White Rice from this website - next time I think I'll try egg noodles.

My husband and I liked this one. I forgot the onions but it still tasted great. I marinated only 30 minutes and it worked. I will make again!

Needs something else to give it a bit more kick. We added asparagus and that was good, just need a bit more spice.

I've made this recipe many times--it is my "go to" summer vacation recipe when I have to cook for 20+ family members! I recommend marinating overnight if possible, and buying thin sliced top round steak. Freeze it a little (not all the way through) and then cut really thin slices with a good pair of kitchen shears. I can't imagine using a knife to cut all the beef--use a good pair of kitchen scissors! It is really fast and easy once you get the method down. You can also add almost any fresh vegetable but beware of frozen vegetables--they can add water/sogginess.

Absolutely delicious. I used steak that was already cut up for stew. Instead of scallions, I used 1/2 onion and i added asparagus. Served over white rice, delicious.

Really good stir fry sauce. I TRIPLED the recipie (changed servings from 4 to 12) and I added fresh steamed broccoli, and there was plenty of sauce. I used regular onions instead of green onions, and much less sesame seeds than called for. Since I dont love beer, next time I'll try it with chicken.

Very good - I marinated the beef overnight, and also added steamed green beans for the last few minutes of stir-frying. I served it over brown rice and it tasted like take-out!

This was a true hit with myself and my children! However I did make some additions. Insead of flank steak I used Beef stew meat. Instead of green onions I used yellow onions that is all that I had at the time. I used a bag of frozen "Sugar snap peas stir fry" (which included the following vegetables, broccoli, sugar snap peas, yellow squash, green beans, red peppers, carrots, yellow peppers, water chestnuts, delicious!) from the store in addition, I cut up more carrots and also cut up some green peppers. I did follow the directions by adding the soy sauce, sugar, oil, garlic, and onions, but I added the sesame seeds to the marinade instead of cooking it at the end. Prior to cooking the beef I seasoned with salt, pepper, and a little minced garlic. Since the garlic was going to be in the marinade, I used very little on the meat itself. I put the meat in with the marinade for about 45 minutes-1 Hour. Everyone loved this, the meat was very juicy and there were absolutely NO LEFTOVERS!!!

This was delicious (although silly me forgot to add the sesame seeds at the end..oops!) I will definitely add them the next time I make this. I also added broccoli for a little added crunch and served over noodles. Hubby loved it too! Thanks for the recipe!
