This received mixed reviews at my house. My husband gives it four stars, my daughter and her boyfriend give it three and I give it two. I thought the flavor was pretty good (though not what I expected), but I really didn't care for the texture (very coarse). It's possible that I used too heavy a hand when folding in the egg-whites, or perhaps it was just supposed to have a very coarse texture. As for the flavor, I was hoping for a liqueur-enhanced almond flavor, but the orange overpowered the almonds. I used freshly grated orange zest and freshly-squeezed orange juice, so perhaps that tipped the balance of flavor in the citrus direction. Another drawback for me was that it was rather labor-intensive: it took me an hour to put together and my kitchen was a disaster by the time I was done.
