I love the seasoning on these oven fries. However, I cut the potatoes and "marinated" them in the oil/seasonings about an hour and a half before baking them. I think the salt drew out moisture from the potatoes which resulted in soggy fries. Next time I make these I'll prep right before baking. The pre-prep in the long-run didn't save me any time.

This was a great starter recipe. I used four small potatoes and one tablespoon of olive oil (to make it a bit healiter), a bit of seasoning salt, a smaller amount of garlic, some pepper, and some oregano. They turned out absolutely delicious! I plan on making these again and experimenting with sweet potatoes and also different seasoning combinations!

I sliced red potatoes into wedges, left the skins on, and sprinkled with shredded cheddar before serving. These were excellent. I'll definitely be making them again.

Very good! I used 3 potatoes and put a bit too much italian seasoning on the potatoes. (I have homemade, and it's a bit spicy--oops). I also added some paprika and onion powder. My favorite thing about these fries is that the time and temp for cooking these were spot on. Usually when I bake potatoes I have to add more time, but these were great. The smaller pieces were more crispy, obviously, but all were cooked. Thanks for the recipe!

These were so good; even the teenager that hates potatoes ate them! I was lazy and instead of using the seasoning I poured on about a half packet of Italian dressing powder. Quite tasty and will be made again. I'm happy to have a new side dish we can all agree on!

Used fresh garlic, and altered the seasonings a little. Very tasty, but not really crispy. Had some crisp to them after cooking them a little longer, but then there were almost chewy. I might have to play with temps, thickness and what not to improve texture. But very easy and very tasty.

Very good! I used red potatoes (what was left in the pantry) and added a little seasoning salt too. They ended up perfectly seasoned and following the recipe exactly.

These were great! Maybe not as crispy as I'd hoped, but that was probably because I didn't bake them at as high a temp as the recipe called for because of other food I was preparing in the oven. I used a non-salt garden blend, some paprika for color, and fresh ground pepper. Delicious served with Fry Sauce (recipe on allrecipes.com).

Delicious and easy. The baking time is the longest part, so remember that when making a full meal. We will be making these again in the near future.

These completed our meal tonight! We had them exactly how the recipe says and made sweet corn on the cob and italian-seasoned baked orange roughy... the perfect end of a long summer day dinner. yummm!

These are the perfect touch to make a summer BBQ that absolute best. They are even better if you add a dash of cayenne pepper to them when they come out of the fryer. That would give the fries a nice southern touch.

Used Pinzey's Pasta Sprinkle instead of Italian seasoning, and no salt. Tons of flavor, very delicious. Fries were perfect texture too, not too greasy, not too crunchy. Served with ketchup, we gobbled these up!

These are great! I just made them and I'm eating them now! I didn't use quite a TB of the Italian seasoning, and I used 1/2 garlic powder and 1/2 onion powder because I like onion powder on potatoes. I also sprinkled on some parmesan cheese before I baked them. I know I made some changes, but they were just for personal taste, and I'm sure the recipe is just as good as written! Thank you for posting it!

Good stuff. Like a couple of other reviewers, I also omitted the garlic. I used four large russets, used extra virgin olive oil (added an extra tbsp. of olive oil for the extra two potatoes) salt, pepper and about five minutes before they were done, I sprinkled some cayenne pepper over them and let them crisp up more. The possibilities for these things are pretty much endless, though. Will definitely make again.

I didn't follow this recipe exactly but they came out really, really good. I cut the potatoes into bigger pieces- maybe about a 1/2 inch thick, didnt use as much garlic powder (seemed like way too much), left out the italian seasoning for more traditional fries and I also added in just a little bit of bread crumbs for a nicer texture. Next time, I will probably make these with the Italian seasoning and sprinkle on a little parmesean or romano cheese.

These were good! I used 1 tablespoon garlic salt instead of powder, omitted the salt, and increased the black pepper to 1/2 teaspoon. Also used 3 potatoes, it would have been too much seasoning on only 2.
