This wasn't very well liked in my house. We are new to couscous so if you already like it go ahead and try this one. There was an underlying taste that wasn't from the seasonings in this recipe. I did buy whole wheat couscous from a bulk bin so not sure if that is the taste of couscous or if it was stale.

This is a great basic recipe, one that I will refer to again and again when preparing couscous, even when I make my own adjustments. I'm also very happy to see a recipe that uses bouillon granules instead of cubes. The flavor of this is simple but it accompanies stronger flavored dishes perfectly. Thanks for the great referrence!

This recipe was exactly what I was looking for. I am a bachelor, and I wanted a quick and good way to prepare couscous without the need to buy the prepackaged mixes. I did everything the directions called for -except- that I did not use any butter. This was accidental, but it worked fine and I intend to keep it out next time for dietary reasons. Great find.

No flavor...at all. It was also very dry. I followed the recipe exactly. I ended up salvaging the couscous by adding a lot of salt, garlic powder, and onion powder. Does the packaged couscous mean that it's already flavored? I used the unflavored couscous from the bulk department of the grocery store. Was this wrong???

This had a very good flavor and was easy to prepare. It needs a little more liquid because it came out a tad on the dry side.

My whole family enjoyed this recipe. In the past, we always found couscous to be kind of bland. This recipe added flavor without getting too complicated. Will be making again!

A good recipe to use when accompanying something. I wish it had a little more zing to it. I ended up using a little fresh lemon juice in mine. Gave it a little something extra. Overall, a good recipe
