I double the sauce because I like more seasonings. My son who doesn't like mint and my daughter who only likes raw asparagus both love this!

If I could give this recipe 10 stars I would. A friend gave me me 1 1/2 pounds of asparagus. Never having fixed asparagus I tried this recipe. Everyone in my household loved it, including one somewhat pickey eater that I have. I made a little extra sauce because I like sauce on my veggies. I had NO leftovers. Will definately make asparagus this way from now on!

The given amounts of ingredients didn't give it enough flavor, need to up those a bit. But when the mint, lemon, and pepper are increased it is very good.

A fabulous dressing for asparagus. We also tried it on diced potatoes, and it was just as good. Since it calls for such a small amount of lemon juice, we substitute the juice of 3 or so kumquats when we have them on hand.

This was fabulous! I added chopped onion and marinated the asparagus with the olive oil and onion. Baked on 400 for about 10 min and sprinkled with garlic salt and parm cheese. My husband said this was the BEST asparagus he's ever had!!! And believe me his mother is an awesome cook and he frequently eats out and orders asparagus on business trips when he's away. This is a KEEPER RECIPE! Very flarorful and so easy!

Yum! This recipe is delicious! I used a 1/4-1/2 tsp of mint. I did not have any dried mint in my spice section so I tore open a bag of peppermint tea and used it instead! I normally turn my nose up at microwaving vegetables, but I really appreciated the fast cooking time and was able to throw this together at the last minute. I really enjoyed the recipe, thanks for posting!

We liked this method of cooking asparagus. My husband said he could not taste the mint at all, but it was very easy to cook and retained it's lovely color.

I've only had asparagus once in my life, but my husband has had it several times... He thought it was really good when I made it this way... I also enjoyed it. Thank you very much for posting it. :D

The sauce added a fresh, light taste with a lemon zest. I could smell the mint, but really couldn't taste it because it didn't sit around. The sauce didn't overpower the asparagus, which is good. I used fresh mint diced small, and fresh squeezed lemon. 5 minutes in the microwave at 900 watts for the asparagus was perfect. It was all very quick and easy.
