1/2 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon butter or stick margarine, melted
1/8 teaspoon dried mint
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon lemon juice
1 dash white pepper

DIRECTIONS
Place asparagus and water in a 1-qt. microwave-safe dish. Cover and microwave on high for 5 minutes or until crisp-tender; drain. Combine butter, mint, salt, lemon juice and pepper. Drizzle over asparagus; toss to coat.

This recipe was tested in a 1,100-watt microwave.
