Super, super recipe--after I added an egg. The first half of the recipe totally fell apart in the oil.

Great recipe! Needed about half the bread crumbs and added extra garlic. Also, I used a double batch of the sauce to go with the falafel since it was so tasty. Like others, I baked in the oven at 400 degrees for twenty minutes (ten on each side). Making again next week!

These were definitely falafels but they weren't amazing. With the works (Pita, hummus, lettuce, tomato tzatziki sauce) they are great but alone... Not so much.

Just finished making and eating this fabulous recipe. Could hardly believe how easy it was to prepare. Followed the instructions exactly and was rewarded with the most delicious thing I've ever made. This is going to be a regular meal around my place for sure!

Made this as-is, though I forgot the bit of cayenne. Baked instead fried as per other reviews. This is my official falafel recipe from now on (chose a great recipe for my first try at making these!) and won't try any other. I used a different sauce though... I'll try this one next time. Thanks Sean!

I thought they were great. I did bake them instead of frying them. The cuke sauce was excellent. Unfortunately, neither hubby nor the kids really liked them, so I probably won't make it again for the family.

This is a great recipe and I was thrilled with myself for making something that comes so close to the great falafel I have had at restaurants. I wish I had read the comments prior to making this because I also experienced the problem of having them fall apart while frying. Next time I will bake them. Also a great cucumber sauce, but I added some crushed garlic (1 clove) for added heat and flavor.

Delish! I did as others suggested and baked them. Husband is a huge falafel fan and claimed they were better than the ones at the authentic local joints. Some said the recipe was time-consuming but honestly it doesn't take any more time than the average meatloaf! :)
