This is a quick and easy dish that's similar to Indian samosas. Potatoes and peas are cooked with cumin, turmeric, coriander and green chiles, then baked in crescent roll dough. Serve with ketchup or mint chutney, if desired.

Cubed ham is arranged in the bottom of a casserole dish, topped with creamed corn and briefly heated in the oven. Mashed potatoes are spooned on top, and then the pie is returned to the oven. Just before serving, it 's dotted with butter and slipped under the broiler to brown.

Cabbage, bacon, ham, onion and leftover potatoes make up this tasty, easy dish. This is a great way to get the kids to eat cabbage. Using leftovers makes this main dish especially quick to make. I recommend using a good nonstick pan. Serve with ketchup, if desired.
