OMG! Thank you so much for this recipe! I made this for my boyfriend and his 2 brothers and all three said that the ribs were better than the popular chain restaurant ribs. They are begging me to make this again! This recipe is AWESOME!!

I threw a huge BBQ for my daughters 25th birthday.I follwed this recipe to a tee except that after I baked the ribs, I allowed them to cool completely then before putting them on the BBQ I put them in my smoker for 1-1/2 hours over Hickory Chips.I used the exact same recipe for my chicken wings and also smoked them too. everyone raved about both. Ive already been asked to do these ribs at our next family birthday. like one reader stated the sauce is time consuming to make, but its worth it, and once youve tried it , its hard to go back to any other.

This rating was difficult. I have grilled ribs for 20+ years and scoffed at those who bake ribs and use sauce. My eldest daughter finally told me after 11 years that she really didn't like my ribs, so I decided to use this recipe. Everyone loved them...and the sauce is a good one. I recommend it.

I didnt use the sauce because I had limited ingredients. BUT I did use the cooking method... simply the best one I've ever encountered! Props Scott!

Awesome sauce! I used another rub, but this sauce is what made these ribs...fantastic! Not a lot of work at all compared to other sauces, and I cut down on the water a bit to save some time.

I made the ribs a few days ago. It was just great, I loved the sauce and the ribs turned out very tender. I end up adding a little more vinegar (ca 2tbs) and whisky (ca 2tbs). Even my husband, who is a picky eater and the cook in the family, liked the recipe a lot. The sauce tastes even better the next day, unfortunally I had no ribs left to go with it.. :((

These were excellent...every rib was gone. The sauce was wonderful as we like it spicy rather than sweet. This is my new rib recipe, thanks for sharing.

One Million Stars !!!!! Ok, seriously, this is by far the most delicious, most tender and easiest recipe ever. Now, my family and I have enjoyed many ribs. We have traveled an hour away just to have ribs at Texas Road House. No resturant has ribs that are better than these. Honestly, Scott Hibb has the best recipe. We have a five and a three year old so I backed off of the ground chili. Our five year old ate an entire half rack herself and our three old ate the other. To say the least we were all covered in ribs and sauce and there was no conversation at dinner except for grunts and groans !!!!!! Thanks for the recipe !!!

This recipe was easy and delicious! The sauce is amazing, it is the perfect "sweet heat". I followed the recipe exactly except I used smoked paprika and chipotle chili pepper, and tripled the Jack Daniels. I also would like to try next time to use oven bags instead of foil - I thought I was very careful in wrapping them up but still they leaked on the cookie sheet. Only flaw/bonus is that the recipe made a lot of sauce...and it is so good that I am going to try it on some chicken and veggie burgers next so I can use it all up! This recipe should be double-posted as a BBQ sauce recipe - the best I have ever had - I didn't think it was tomatoey at all actually. Definitely will make again!

This is just for the sauce. The sauce was very tomatoey. It did have a zing to it. I made it on steaks. I will try a different BBQ sauce recipe.

I thought the ribs were good but not as impressed as others seem to be. I still prefer Big Als bbq sauce(AR) over this one. This one was just way to sweet and not tangy enough for my taste. I followed the recipe EXACTLY but found myself adding more vinegar as it simmered. I will not make this again only cause I LOVE 'Big Al's K.C. Bar-B-Q Sauce' over this one.

YUM! These were amazing! I have never made ribs or my own BBQ sauce before, and these were definitely a hit. I skipped the whiskey because I didn't have it, and the sauce was great anyway. This recipe's a keeper!

Best ribs I've ever had. I used side ribs, so I cooked them in the oven a little bit longer. This sauce was so tasty. I will definitely use this recipe again.
