Great crock pot recipe. I used frozen roasted potatoes with salt and pepper so that made this recipe super easy for me. I will definitely make this again!

Pretty good but a little rich. I added bacon so it was more like a breakfast meal.

Great! Easy to prep and great for a day at the cabin. I doubled the recipe and it fit perfectly in a 5 qt slow cooker. Used evaported milk instead of milk, added 3 cups of cheese instead of 2 cups, and added some garlic powder to taste. I put the slower cooker on low and let it cook for 7 hours since we were at the lake all day. I forgot corn flakes so I omitted that and the extra butter for the topping. It still turned out wonderful.

I made this to take to my fiance's annual Labor Day weekend family gathering at their cabin in the mountains. I doubled the recipe and it fit perfectly in my five-quart crock pot, so I think a smaller crock pot could be successfully used for the recipe as-written. I omitted the topping, because we don't care for cornflake toppings on savory dishes and I didn't have enough Panko bread crumbs to use instead. I will definitely include the topping next time, using Panko crumbs. Based on a couple reviews saying this was too buttery, I also cut the amount of butter in half and I'm glad I did that, because it would have been way too greasy with the full amount of butter. Overall, we enjoyed this dish, but it was a bit bland. I'm thinking fresh onions instead of dried minced onion and perhaps some fresh garlic as well as a little cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes would really help the flavor a lot.

This was a great recipe! I was looking for a recipe I could use as a side for Easter and not tie up my oven. I did use peeled fresh potatos thinly sliced and added some fresh chopped garlic and onion. Turned out fabulous!! Thanks for sharing!
