Added minced fresh garlic in the potato layers. Put cheese on top for last 20 min and covered. Thought there were going to be way too many potatoes, but it turned out perfect.

This was delicious as it is written! Especially if you let it cool off a bit before serving. Surprisingly creamy seeing there is no milk or cheese in it. I will most certainly make this again.

My family loves this recipe. It would be great for people who are turned off by the traditional milk based scalloped potatoes.

I was so tempted to add things to these potatoes, like cheese or garlic or chives. However I made them exactly as the recipe was written and I'm glad I did, these were so creamy and so delicious, I will be throwing out all my boxes of scalloped potatoes and making these from now on!!

I have been making these for a long time now. I leave out the onion for personal pref but replace it with a little onion and garlic powder. I was skeptical of the mayo the first time I gave the recipe a try. But its amazing!

Well, all five of my kids loved it!! I loved the fact that it had no milk, as my daughter is lactose intolerant. It was creamy and delicious and I made only one modification. My daughter is also celiac, so I used rice flour, otherwise I did everything just like the recipe. No left overs either!

delicious! Now that I've made them from the recipe and know that they are good, I'll start adding the goodies that make them even better. I love how they taste so cheesy without an ounce of cheese in them.

So good! I chop the onion and saute it in the butter. I also found 1 1/2 hours works if you cut the recipe in half.
