Very good. We used extra pepper, but we like lots of pepper. I never knew scalloped potatoes were so easy.

Great receipe, great dish, great reaction, no leftovers. Had to make a dinner for a group including a lactose intollerant person. This fit the bill perfectly. Everyone loved it. Put out some grated cheddar but it really did not need it. This was a real lifesaver for the host.

I was very pleased with how this recipe turned out! I worried that 2 hours was too long to cook them, but the potatoes came out perfectly cooked. I used red onions and instead of chopping, used halved skinny strips, which contrasted nicely with the potatoes. Also added 1/4 tsp. garlic powder and 1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar to the sauce.

WOW! I could not belive how good these potatoes were. I accidently forgot to add the maynoise and they were still wonderful. I will never make the cheese kind again.

My new favorite scalloped potato recipe. The only change I would make is to increase the sauce as mine turned out just a tad dry but the flavor was great. Only needed 1.5 hours in the oven but sat nicely covered on the counter waiting for the rest of the meal to finish. Great recipe.

I was a bit skeptical about this recipe and how simple it is, but gave it a try. They turned out super tasty and as expected, were easy to do. Served with ham they were a great addition to a nice "comfort food" type of dinner.

I would make this again but I would add a few changes. 1) 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper 2) 1 cup old chedder cheese grated. But if your looking for a scalloped potato recipe without cheese this is a keeper.

Great! Real comfort food! I did cook the full 2 hrs - was perfect! Instead of plain salt I used garlic salt - nice addition for flavor. Got great reviews from the whole family and guest!

I have never made scalloped potatoes before. However, last evening the mood struck when I found this recipe. I made exactly as written (no substitutions or tweaking as is my usual MO). They were very tasty and tender. My family enjoyed them, too. This recipe is a keeper. Thank you.

I thought these were great! I followed the directions but pulled it out too early. I thought my slices were a bit thin, but they really need to cook the full time stated. Regardless, my picky 3yr old ate it and loved it! I will make this dish again!

I enjoyed this recipe. Good texture of the potatoes, not mushy. Next time I might add a bit of cheese.

I followed the recipe exactly but my family found it tasteless and pastey. I am giving it 2 stars because it was easy to make, but there are much better scalloped potato recipes out there.

Really good and creamy. A refreshing change from heavy creamy scalloped potatoes made with milk or cream.
