I only put 1 star because it would not allow me to get past the screen without one choice. I followed this recipe to the strict detail and the concoction was a solid brick. My partner was trying to cheer me up by telling me how good the chicken was, I think my chicken turned to dust and went to its' afterlife. Save your money and time and buy the tv dinner. It really needs more moist ingredients, like a cream of mushroom or chicken added.

I thought this recipe was ok but not a five star recipe. It basically tasted like chicken and stove top stuffing but with a lot more work involved. Instead of buying a loaf of bread and cutting it up I used about 3/4 of a bag of soft bread stuffing (martins potato bread). Im not sure why the cracker crumbs were added into the mixture as it didnt seem to add much more flavor or texture. Also the finished product was mushy underneath the top crust. It was ok but I probably won't make it again.

This is total comfort food! This is a must recipe for fall/winter. I make this when I have left over french or too much bread on hand. Thank you for posting.
