Original recipe makes 1 - 9 inch pie Change Servings


  1. Mix together the egg whites (unbeaten) and sugar. Stir in the graham cracker crumbs, pecans and coconut. Stir together by hand until well blended.
  2. Pour into an unbaked pie shell. Bake in preheated 325 degree F (165 degrees C) oven until glossy and set (about 25-30 minutes). DO NOT OVERBAKE! Center should be gooey. Serve with sliced bananas and whipped cream.

This pie is awesome! I put chocolate chips on the bottom and then caramel sauce on top after it is baked. It's rich, but always a favorite.

I LOVE sweets, but this gagged me ... Just way too sweet for my taste

This pie is excellent. Its soo good if you serve it warm with the whipping cream and bananas. Very good

I have not made this yet but it sounds like the pie I had at a restaurant today. I am confused about the description of "stiff egg whites" when you don't even beat them.

This pie is served at a steak restaurant here- Angus Barn- my husband had it and wanted to make it at home. This recipe is VERY close to the restaurant version! YUMMY!
