This seems like it would make a good base recipe but currently it comes out very bland and dry. I even added some spices to it based on other's suggestions but that didn't seem to work. If anyone has any ideas on how improve it, please post!

This bread was very bland and dry. The biscuit mix was over-powering and not palatable. A total waste of good ingedients.

This is good, but a bit dry. Not sure if I did something wrong or what bc no one else mentioned that. I did use pancake mix instead of baking mix, but as far as I know it's almost the same thing. I think maybe a bit more sausage and a bit more liquid, but all in all a pretty good snack! Thanks for the recipe!

Excellent !!!!!!! Needs alittle more sausage and cheese. Other than that keep the way it is.

I made these into muffins, and everyone liked them. Very reminiscent of sausage balls which my family has made for years. I used Jimmy Dean hot sausage and added the onion (about 1/4 c total) to the sausage while it was browning, and I used sharp cheddar. I do think it will be better with more cheese in the batter, so next time I'll up the cheese.

This is SOOOOO good. I LOVE Jimmy Dean's Hot sausage, so I used that and I added onion. Everyone went CRAZY over these. SUPER good.

Not bad, but needs more a little more flavor. I used Italian sausage and about 3 cups of cheese and it was a lot better. Even picky toddlers liked it!

Pretty good. I really like the onion in them. Kind of turned out an odd consistency, but I was glad that they were moist and not dry!

I usually don't vary recipes much, but I had italian sausage on hand and used that instead of the pork sausage. I didn't have enough cheddar to put on top. I also made them into muffins. They were pretty tasty. I will make this recipe again using the pork sausage.

This recipe is excellent. I've made it several times for breakfast and it gets gobbled up. It goes great with fried eggs over-easy. I might try baking muffins of them the next time I make the recipe.

This was terrific. I made them in mini muffin pans because I was taking them to our youth Sunday school class. I started out sprinkling cheese on each muffin, but was in a hurry. They were just as good w/out it. I will definitely make these again. The kids loved them.
